Leigh Smith - Pre-school Manager
Leigh joined Acacia in February 2013 and took on the role of manager in September 2013. As pre-school manager, Leigh is on site for all sessions. Leigh is a mother of 3 girls and holds a BA in Early Education and Childcare and ‘Early Year’s Professional Status’. Leigh has over 8 years of pre-school education experience and is a qualified paediatric first aider.
Suzanne Peacock - Pre-school Deputy Manager
Suzanne joined Acacia in January 2010 and she works at the pre-school 4 days a week.
Suzanne is a mother of 3 girls and holds an OFSTED recognised Level 3 early years qualification. Suzanne is also a qualified paediatric first aider.
Suzanne's children have all previously attended the pre-school.
Cath Harwood-Matthews - Pre-school SENCo
Cath joined Acacia in January 2011 and works 4 mornings a week.Cath is a mother of 2 boys and holds an OFSTED recognised Level 3 early years qualification and is a qualified paediatric first aider.
Pamela Tanner - Pre-school Assistant
Pam joined Acacia in February 2015 and works 4 days a week.Pam has 4 children and is a qualified paediatric first aider. She also attends college to study for the Level 3 CACHE certification.
Sharon Heptinstall - Senior Pre-school Assistant
Sharon joined Acacia in September 2012 and works 4 days a week.
Sharon is a mother to 3 children and holds an OFSTED recognised Level 3 early years qualification. Sharon has over 20 year’s childcare experience and is also a qualified paediatric first aider.
Agata Kwiecinska- Pre-school Assistant
Agata started at Acacia in March 2015 as a member of our bank team and is now a permanent staff member working 4 days a week. Agata has a daughter who attended Acacia and she is a qualified teacher, working at a local Polish School on Saturdays.
Jane-Ann Hunt - Bank Staff Assistant
Jane-Ann is a member of our bank staff but works in the pre-school on a regular basis. She is a qualified teacher and has 2 grown up children.
Priscilla Watts - Pre-school Administrator
Priscilla joined Acacia in July 2011. Priscilla is responsible for ensuring the pre-school office runs smoothly and keeps on top of all paperwork generated regarding both the business and childcare aspects of Acacia.
Priscilla is a mother of two children.
Gemma Woolford - Pre-school 2 Year Old Coordinator
Gemma joined Acacia in September 2013 as a member of our bank team and took on a permanent position with us in January 2014. Gemma works 5 mornings a week and holds an OFSTED recognised Level 3 qualification. Gemma is also a qualified paediatric first aider.
Helen Pearce - Pre-school Assistant
Helen joined Acacia in January 2016. She holds an OFSTED recognised Level 3 qualification and is a qualified first aider. Helen has one daughter who previously attended Acacia pre-school.
Amy Cowen - Pre-school Assistant
Amy joined Acacia in January 2016 and works 4 days a week. She is a qualified paediatric first aider and is studying for the Level 3 CACHE
Michelle Harvey- Pre-school Assistant
Michelle joined the team in January 2018. She is a mother of 2 grown-up children and has been working in childcare since 20014.
Michelle holds a Level 3 OFSTED recognised certificate and is a qualified paediatric first aider.
